I've got allergies....so how do I know that the foods aren't cross-contaminated?
We have set the store out to do our best at keeping foods within their own allergen groups i.e. nuts altogether, and so on.
At Unpackaged each food bin has its own scoop to further help avoid contamination.
Our scoops, bins, and utensils are cleaned thoroughly, and often, to help reduce contamination.
At Unpackaged we do our best to avoid contamination, but it’s important to note that neither Unpackaged nor our suppliers, can guarantee our products will not contain traces of other products.
I'm shopping online, so how will my products be packaged?
We use recycled jars and/or paper/compostable bags - if you'd prefer one over the other please ensure you leave a comment within your order.
OUR COMPOSTABLE BAGS ARE HOME COMPOSTABLE - MEANING YOU CAN PUT THEM IN YOUR GREEN WASTE BIN OR HOME COMPOST. THESE BAGS ARE MADE FROM cellulose that is sustainably sourced from fsc forests.
these bags are food-safe.
whilst they might look like plastic they are 100% plastic-free.
please note we do not ship liquids/jars via australia post. these items are only available for in-store pick-up or local home delivery.
