Eco Friendly Cleaning Products - that you can make at home

Ditch the cleaning products full of chemicals, and create your own eco-friendly products that are safe for your family, pets and environment.

toilet For a super heavy duty clean simply put about 1/2 cup of bicarbonate soda directly into your toilet bowl. add some essential oils if you like (optional) and then pour in about 1/4 cup of white vinegar. scrub the bowl while the mixture fizzes.
flush clean.

Grout cleaner mix together castile soap with baking soda to form a paste. apply to your grout and let sit for about 30 minutes, scrub & rinse clean.

Mirrors and windows mix together equal parts of water and white vinegar. add essential oils to create a lingering scent.
spray and wipe clean (we love old cloths for this!)

KITCHEN

ALL PURPOSE COUNTER CLEANER MIX TOGETHER EQUAL PARTS VINEGAR AND WATER, ADD IN ESSENTIAL OILS FOR YOUR FAVOURITE SCENT.
THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MARBLE, GRANITE OR STONE BENCH TOPS.

CLOGGED DRAINS PUT ABOUT 1/2 CUP OF BICARBONATE SODA DOWN THE DRAIN AND TOP WITH WHITE VINEGAR. ONCE THE FIZZING HAS SUBSIDED POUR A FEW CUPS OF HOT WATER DOWN THE DRAIN.

OVEN CLEANER mAke a paste from bicarbonate soda, table salt and water. cover the inside of your oven and leave it overnight.
The next morning wipe off with a warm cloth.
